Search Dog Alliance of Arkansas

About SDAOA

The Search Dog Alliance of Arkansas (SDAOA) was formed in 2007 by Kathy Zasimovich and Jeannette Barnes. Members of SDAOA operate under common laws and certification guidelines that meet national standards. SDAOA travels the state to train, train, and train more together. The team tries to make a complete circle of the state as best as possible for all members and state K-9 handlers to join.

WHO WE WORK WITH:

SDAOA requires approval and call-out by an official law enforcement or other governmental agency. We do not self deploy. Our team is all volunteer, and will respond free of charge. Our Unit will operate professionally in accordance with the Incident Command System.

SDAOA aims to have a quick initial response to a callout. This ensures that the search management has the opportunity to search the most probably areas of detection within a short time to keep the number of trained resources to a minimum and also manage the search in the quickest way possible. SDAOA also aims to provide the neccesary ground resources to deploy both canine and ground search operations. All of our services are provided FREE to law enforcement and the families of lost or missing persons.
