The SDAOAR canine education webpage is desgned to help anyone who is interested in advancing knowledge about SAR

Canine Search & Rescue continues to be a growing and expanding field within SAR origanizations. Many new and important aspects of how a canine can augment a misson are being discovered everyday. It is only through training and education that these canine handlers and their respective partners are able to obtain the competencies required to fulfill roles and responsibilities on a SAR team.

There are many different organizational groups as well as experienced individuals that have contributed to the educational advancement of Search & Rescue and canine SAR particularly. These files represent only a fraction of material available and I encourage each handler to explore any opportunity to increase their knowledge.
