Meet the team members
Shon Morris of Jonesboro began handling Roofus, a bloodhound in 2009. Shon is a full-time police officer and works for the 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force, a certified law enforcement instructor, Sniper on the SWAT team, certified diver, and many other Police and Safety certifications. Blake Bristow of Jonesboro began training with bloodhounds in 2005 with his Dad. Blake began training Roxy, his German Shepherd, in 2008 for land and water cadaver. Blake also handles a bloodhound, Molly. Blake is full-time police officer and works for the 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force, a certified law enforcement instructor, and many other Police and safety certifications. NIMS IS100/200/700/800
Tim Mansfield of Lynn began handling a blood hound, Molly, in 2006. Tim is a First Responder, Fire Fighter, IS 100/700, CERT Trainer for Lawrence County, Wildland Fire Fighter, Storm Spotter, AR First Annual SAR Dog Seminar.
Jody Presser of Cave City joined B.A.R.K. in 2009. He trains and handles his own bloodhound, Slugger, since 2008. Jody is a volunteer fireman, EMT, reserve Deputy for Sharp County and has many other first responder certifications. NIMS IS100/200/700.
Michael Bristow; He has been handling and training his own bloodhounds since 2005. He headed the Lawrence County Search and Recovery Unit which was also a C.E.R.T. team. He and his main hound Daisy are certified though NNDDA. He also has two other hounds which are handled by Blake Bristow and Shon Morris and Tim Mansfield. Michael moved to Jonesboro in 2009. At this time we put together Bristow’s Association of Recovery K-9’s. B.A.R.K. It consists of four Bloodhounds for man trailing and one German Shepherd trained in Cadaver. Michael is a Volunteer Fireman, Reserve Deputy, EMT-A, CERT trainer and many other first responder certifications. NIMS IS100/700.

The B.A.R.K. team has had numerous callouts and many successes over the past years. With our diverse training and Police backgrounds we are able to take any type of callout whether it be missing or lost persons, criminal suspects, human remains detection land or water. We always strive to make our team and K-9’s the most efficient by training regularly and attending seminars with professional trainers.
