This one day (eight hour) seminar is for all Search and Rescue first
responders.
We all know how to search and what equipment we need. However, to be
a complete Search and Rescue first responder you need to know much,
much more
Do you know what the civil liabilities are if you get
injured while assisting the police looking for a lost person? Do you
know how to properly speak with the parents of a missing child and what
questions to ask them? Did you know in child abduction murder cases,
48% of the time, the murder site is within one quarter mile of the initial
contact point between the child and abductor? Why would I need body
armor? These are the types of issues and information you will learn
if you attend this fascinating eight hour seminar.
Each person attending this seminar will receive a 90+ page booklet packed
with information, statistics, facts, tips, and resources. Additionally
each person will receive a CD with 50+ resource documents you will read
and use.
Your instructor will be Inv. Bruce Walstad, ret.. Bruce is retired police
detective and juvenile officer from a Chicago suburb. Over his 26 years
of service, he has investigated countless runaway, missing and abducted
children cases. Since 1985 Bruce has been presenting in-service training
